Terms of Use
Last updated: August 24, 2026
1. About This Game & Acceptance of These Terms
Flip 7 is a press-your-luck card game. This website is an unofficial, fan-made digital implementation built for entertainment purposes. We borrowed the concept and rules from the original Flip 7 card game and do not claim any ownership over the intellectual property.
By playing the game or otherwise using this site, you accept these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with them, simply don't use the site — there is no account to cancel and nothing to uninstall. These terms exist mainly so that the small number of things that could go wrong (advertising, accounts, multiplayer conduct, downtime) are written down plainly rather than hidden.
2. Advertising & Voluntary Support
- Playing Flip 7 is, and always will be, free — no purchases, no subscriptions, nothing locked behind a payment.
- This site shows ads served by Google AdSense to help cover hosting costs. Ad providers may use cookies to personalize ads — see our Privacy Policy for details.
- You may optionally contribute towards those hosting costs through the third-party platform Buy Me a Coffee. Contributions are entirely voluntary gifts, they are handled by that platform under its own terms, they buy no product, feature, or advantage in the game, and they are not refundable by this site.
3. No Affiliation
This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to the original Flip 7 game designers, publishers, or any related parties. All trademarks and rights belong to their respective owners.
4. Accounts & Privacy
- Creating an account is optional and only used to save your game stats and appear on the Hall of Fame. Everything else — solo play, multiplayer rooms, all guides — works without one.
- Signing in uses Google Sign-In; we store your Google display name/email and your game statistics — see our Privacy Policy for full details of what is kept and for how long.
- We do not sell your data.
- You can delete your stats at any time by contacting us; deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
5. Fair Play & Acceptable Use
- Display names and nicknames appear to other players and on the public Hall of Fame — keep them free of abusive, hateful, or impersonating content. We may reset a name that crosses that line.
- Don't attempt to cheat: exploiting bugs to inflate stats, automating play, or interfering with multiplayer rooms spoils the leaderboard for everyone. Multiplayer decks are dealt server-side precisely so that every player draws from the same honest shuffle.
- Don't attempt to disrupt the service itself — probing the API, flooding rooms, or scraping other players' data.
- We may remove leaderboard entries or block access where these rules are broken. There's no appeals bureaucracy — this is a small fan site — but genuine mistakes can be raised through the contact page.
6. Availability & Changes
This is a hobby project run by one person, not a commercial service with an uptime guarantee. The game may occasionally be unavailable, and features may change, break, or be removed as the game evolves. Saved stats are backed up on a best-effort basis. Likewise, these terms may be updated from time to time — the date at the top of this page always reflects the latest revision, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
7. Disclaimer of Warranty
This game is provided "as is" and "as available", for entertainment only, without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees regarding uptime, availability, accuracy of statistics, or fitness for any particular purpose, and accept no liability for any loss arising from use of the site — which, given that the site is a free card game, should hopefully never matter. Use at your own risk.
8. Contact
Questions about these terms, a data-deletion request, or anything else: use the contact page. Messages go directly to the site's creator and are usually answered within a few days.
